The PCMS Library/Media Center

Holocaust project research info for Mrs. Munnier and Mrs. Craven's 8th grade classes.

The library media center in a school is a place where a student can go to find books, graphic novels, PlayAways, movies, research materials, and magazines. The atmosphere should allow students to easily concentrate on reading or researching. Welcome to PCMS's Library Media Center. We hope it will be a place you'll want to return to.

Have a book in mind that you'd like to read? Search Destiny, our online catalog, to see if we have what you're looking for. You can also renew your own materials, recommend a book to a friend, or create your own book reviews. If you can't remember your username and/or password, visit the Username page for a reminder.

What do YOU like to read? If you have a suggestion of what we need to add to the collection here at PCMS's Library Media Center, please tell Mrs. Sheridan or Mrs. Thomas, or submit a Wishlist request in Destiny. While we might not be able to get everything, we'll do our best.

Students can visit the media center before school (7:50-8:00 a.m.), or after school (from 2:55-3:15 p.m.). If you need to use the media center for a research project after school that will be later than 3:15, see Mrs. Sheridan to arrange it.

We have a Silhouette Cameo 3 cutting machine.  Don't know much about cutting machines or what they are used for?  Check out this video that explains what all the Silhouette can do!  If you are interested in using the machine, please schedule a time with Mrs. Sheridan by signing up here.

Mission: The PCMS Media Center will provide a student-centered environment where students are engaged in learning activities and programs. Our Media Center will implement, enrich, and support our school curriculum.
